Actually the user score is a value determined by the sum of the scores of all of a user's articles that have a positive total score. We originally intended it to be the sum of ALL scores, but I didn't think it would be fair to writers who are just starting out, so I changed it.
I suppose I should put something in the FAQ about this.
Makes sense. But my article scores (as of now) are +29, +16, and +5, and my user score remains at +29. Does it take any time for the newer ones to weigh in? Or a certain number of votes? I've seen a few other members whose scores are the same as their better article, even though they have two.
