It is over-rated in a way. It's hard to get into, the writing's thick and the perspective very singular. You really have to be craving some specific social commentary to be able to accept it, and want to read it.
Anyway, book club would be coooool. I don't know if I'd participate, just because I don't have a library card here. But if I get a chance to buy whatever book is being done for the month I'd go for it.

No don't think its really a girly one... but I am a girl so maybe that's why I liked it!! My Dad and brother read it on my reccomendation though and liked it also, worth a look.
