We have a topic for every other 'favorite' subject and I noticed from reading another topic we have a lot of video game enthusiasts here.
I can't say I have an absolute favorite, but I probably invested the most time into:
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Animal Crossing
Deja Vu
Super Mario World
Golden Sun
Paper Mario
Punch Out!

Hmm.. My favorites have to be the following:
RPG - Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy XII, Suikoden 2
Horror - All the Silent Hills, and also Resident Evil 4
Action - Metal Gear Solid and the Tomb Raiders
Sports - don't play any
Sleep, those little slices of death; Oh how I loathe them.

Let me see....
Pong - well it was the first game I ever played and got me hooked.
Civilization - best Atari ST game I ever played and got me interested in strategy PC games.
Bards Tale - first PC based RPG I played - for the time not bad graphics and fun to play.
Final Fantasy VII - played this with my daughter...unfortunately my wife walked in when the main character just happened to be cross dressing - it's a couple of minutes game play in a 30+ hour game, but she had to walk in then!
Wow I could go on forever......
Probably my overall best game ever is.........
The Witcher - a relatively new game. A very atmospheric RPG game on the PC, with perhaps the best plot (one that adapts as you play)....

WORLD OF WARCRAFT
j/k j/k
but srsly. WoW must own. THE LICH KING EXPANSION COMES OUT IN TWO MONTHS!!
OoT was a great game that I can take a whole day with and just run through it.
Golden Sun, excellent GBA game, it's what made the handheld in my opinion.
Pokemon, I was hugely into that for a long time, then the series strayed way far from its cool points.
Counter-Strike is the only online shooter I like to play. The others all take way too long to learn properly.
Guitar Hero has been one of my favorites since it first came out. Now I'm into Rockband. Hopefully getting the second one soooooon.
FFVII was a great introduction into story-driven RPGs, and probably the best in terms of its story. The gameplay shows its age real quick these days however.
Mario Kart and Starfox for the N64, I played those every weekend for a good two years.
Ogre Battle! By far one of the best and most under-appreciated RPGs. Tactics Ogre doesn't quite compare to the awesomeness of FFT on the PS1, but it's still good in its own right. The characters in Ogre Battle 64 though, even the side ones, were so full of humanity. Wish they could have translated more games to the states. Ah well.
I guess this list is long enough, but it could go on so much farther xP

That'd probably be Deus Ex, most atmospheric and intriguing game I've ever played.
I also loved The Longest Journey, and the sequel Dreamfall. Those two had some of the best character development I've ever come across, choc full of memorable moments.

I've heard of Deus Ex, I wonder if my PC can handle it. I'd really like to try it out.

ooo, video games...
hmm, wells, i have to say my favorites are...
resident evil 4
Legend of zelda, ocarina of time,
banjo zazooie,
katamari damacy,
call of duty 4,
i guess i'm mainly into computer games:
the half life series, portal, bioshock, diablo II and lots of other stuff too...
nothing quite like a violent video/computer game to release stress. These definitely have more of a satisfying crunch than that candy bar, pfff....
something unique and creative
