Hi guys. I too came here from writiingforums.com, though I was not a frequent user there.
A random person (who had been banned by the time I got the message o.O) told me to post something from there onto here and voila.
Definitely the most user-friendly writer's site I've seen.

I come from an area where ESL kids were the norm. I was just lucky to read a lot growing up.
Tolkien, Stephen King, Asimov, Douglas Adams, that kind of best-seller stuff.
Hope I can stick around for awhile here. Learn a thing or two :P

Rather lost at the moment as to where everything is but it's still early days. I get the feeling I'm the oldest member in town too. Oh well, every forum needs it's aged grouchy member.

You'd be surprised. After looking at a lot of profiles, I'd say half the site is 20+, half 20-. I even saw some posts by a 70 year old!
Also a Californian Scientist with a bachelors in something or other.

Hi, I'm kinda new to this... I used to be on fictionpress, but I never got word from anyone there, so I gave up on it. I will be submitting speculative fiction as much as possible. A lot is going on for me right now, so I don't know how often I'll be putting stuff up. There's college, national novel writing month, and the new expansion pack for World of Warcraft coming out next month... because these are all totally on the same scale...

Anyway, expect a lot of fantasy from me... and sorry if I seem distant... I've been told I'm kind of reserved around new people... even on the internet...
