OK, so here's the idea I have:
Me and a friend (another writer-type person) are about to embark on a literary endeavour titled "Three Six Five" - though that name will probably change to something more awesome the closer we get to the end. The idea is a (pretty fucking huge) anthology of
vignettes and
flash fiction - basically, short pieces typified by a word length of a minimum of 300 and maximum of 1000. The general idea is to do one for every single day of the year (so 365 in total, hence the working title).
As you might guess, though, this is a fairly monumental task - we're talking about 300,000 words. And we're students. Although it'll probably be mainly authored by me and this other mystery acquaintance, we're looking for other writers to do one or two short pieces for it. The book will be featured on Amazon, and if you contribute more than one piece others will be able to search for you. Otherwise, your work will simply be featured in the book.
Cover art, means of publication and ISBN registration are already secured - all we need now is content.
If you fancy joining in, either leave a response to this message or PM me. There are a lot of good writers around here.
NOTE: This book will be marketed on a not-for-profit basis, meaning no-one will receive any royalties for this book (not even me). Potential contributors should see this more as a springboard or portfolio addition for their work, and not as a means to get rich.
