Does anybody else have problems with the site after clicking a few links, and the whole thing just hangs?
It usually only happens when I'm logged in, but that's not a rule.
Is it just a slow server that gets clogged up easily or what? Anybody know?

I noticed a few stalls when I was browsing yesterday, but I thought it was just my connection. Today there doesn't seem to be any problems, so it may just have been some routine backend server maintenance. Thanks for bringing this up, though.

I have occasional trouble, but it seems to happen when I have the site open in more than one window - it also seems to happen when I'm writing a long review!!!! I end up having to copy the review to a different 'instance' of papertank! What is strange is that when it does freeze, I cannot get it to work in the same browser (I have IE7 and am open up new tabs) - I have to launch IE again!!!!

Caleb - today during one of my reviews it did stall! I too assumed it was my connection!

I think I've found the solution to the issue. The chatbox updates every 10 seconds, and sometimes it ends up making far too many requests to the server than it should. So, I've disabled it's live functionality (which wasn't really necessary in the first place).
We'll see how it goes from here.

Seems to be making a huge difference to me - pages are loading a lot quicker...no hang-ups...good job!!!

I tried to post a question in Forbidden Topics yesterday and after I hit submit I got back a page with a lot of technical stuff. I couldn't get back to the rest of the site either after that. Nor did my post go through.
