Being a writing website, we'd like to know what tools you feel you'd like to have available when writing and submitting articles here. We want to be the most comprehensive and helpful website for you, so any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm.
I don't know if this feature already exists. How about a convenient personal storage of drafts, or any other preliminary form of writing that we are not yet ready to post?
EDIT: I just read
this thread. It seems that a portfolio page is already in progress. Will this involve what I had just stated above?

I'd ask for a spell-checker in the submission process, but I type my articles in Microsoft Word.
