Every atom is a single song
all you do is sing along.
To that all pervading symmetry
honed by musicality.
In the beginning there was a chord
no human tongue could express.
In the toll of saint or sword
or those long laid to rest.
Our duet of twining lives.
Major, minor as one key
until the final discord dies
at the whispering of the sea.
No chorus, a solo every one.
Six billion swirling melodies,
though many songs will be undone
by joyfulness or tragedies.
Sometimes the notes may wend away.
One pure voice will start a new refrain.
Raise the sun, it dawns one more day.
Sing now, you’ll not be heard again.

It's interesting how the deeper meanings come out of this - how somehow music is part of life - at the molecular level - and not just something on the surface.
