Oh The Green Fairy,
She'll weep for me,
And I'll feast upon her tears.
She is beautiful,
And tempting me,
I'll be dead behind my years.
For this town of mine,
She'll bury me,
In water that makes me shiver.
The waves are green,
They're burning me,
The Fairy cried this river.
I lie in death a martyr,
Her love has finished me,
I hold onto her wing, and gently sing,
God curse the Green Fairy!

what i enjoyed about this poem also appears in the cons section but I disagree with one of the other reviewers who said he thought you were heavy handed with the punctuation. if you did it on purpose and if it is part of the meaning the almost staccato, I'm not sure if I'm spelling that right, na...
