The Crap Crashers
My mate and I crash both the prom and a wedding, with hilarious consequences.
The Pros
Wonderful story. No unnecessary digressions in the story. Kept my interest throughout the entire thing. Loved the British/Scottish/whateveritwas inflections such as "wanker" and the like. Not too long or too short, just about the perfect length for a story like this. Makes me want to go out and crash a few proms/weddings of my own :D.
The Cons
Not really many to speak of. Maybe a little more detail in the Leavers Dance, as previously stated by Stevie, but other wise good all around.
Final Thoughts
Must have more stories of crashed parties. They are always good stories to read. Keep up the good work JDC!

The Pros
That was really fun to read! It held my attention all the way through with kung-fu grip. The characters felt real while fabulously unrealistic at the same time. Just about perfect pace and length, I blazed through this with ease. It was funny and charming.
The Cons
I got a little lost in the dialect, me being a simple American folk and all. Only a couple times I had to step back and go "what the hell did they just say?" The story seemed a bit TOO over-the-top at times and specific parts were a little cliche. I'd like to have seen the beginning half to be fleshed out some more.
Final Thoughts
Very well done, a fabulous addition to Papertank. A little rough around the edges, but some like it rough. Keep doing what your doing JDC!

The Pros
The pacing of the story is effective; there are no areas in which unnecessary ‘fat’ needs to be trimmed. It’s tight and restrained, but not to the point of suffocating the narrative. The characters’ personalities are perfectly demonstrated through their actions and dialogue, removing the need for overly-indulgent descriptions.
The humour incorporated ensures the attention of the reader never sways, while their free-spirited sensibilities make sure we root for them.
The Cons
No major flaws, but perhaps more detail in the Leavers Dance segments to illustrate how the dual protagonists don’t conform the ‘wankers’ of the school’s social elite would be beneficial. This is, of course, a minor detail and the story does not suffer from it.
Final Thoughts
An entertaining, witty and ultimately heart-warming piece that demonstrates the eternal appeal of a ‘boys-own’ adventure.

The Pros
The style stayed fresh and although colloquial at times seems as though it would still be accessible to those who are not natives to the West of Scotland.
It was funny, it kept my attention and it made reference to time travel; all boxes have been ticked.
The Cons
No serious cons, it's just that the character Paul kinds of disappears unexplained, but then again that kind of suits the chaotic tempo of the piece.
Final Thoughts
More of that, Coughlan!
