Writing needs a lot of work
Posted Sep 11, 2008
The Pros
It was an interesting story line. A humorous concept of how the bible was written.
The Cons
The main problem was the writing. Really... it needs a lot of work. There's no style of flow... it feels disorganized and lazy. For example, the paragraph that keeps saying "said Adam" "Said Daniel".
Variation is a useful thing.
Also, your punctuation could use work... Use quotations marks, and only one ending mark (.?!) at a time.
The story just wasn't.... built up much. It was just kind of thrown on the paper, with hardly any detail or much plot.
The writing needs a lot of practice.
Final Thoughts
Eh. Could be a good story, but the writing just made it hard to read, and hard to enjoy at all.
Also, I don't think people even had written language until something like the 5th century...

The Pros
You had an interesting - albeit relatively cliché - idea.
The Cons
The entire piece seems extremely forced, especially in the beginning; nothing seems to flow naturally, and sentences get hung up on phrases that really don't belong together and end up getting in the way of the story.
Oddly enough, as the piece progresses it does pick up the pace but unfortunately goes too far and seems rushed. The end falls into a jumble of sentences that sort of liquify out of thin air and slump into an unsatisfying puddle two seconds later.
Final Thoughts
I'd like to see this rewritten perhaps, with a lot more time spent in the actual progression of the piece. I found that I had to push myself to get through it, yet once I finished there wasn't much for me to remember.
