i think the writing style is elegant and fluid. the story is rich in detail, particularly the way it is grounded in the physical world with its tangible descriptions.

honestly, this may be minor, but asthma has a tipping point. once it becomes critical, fighting for air is extremely laborious - like a fish out of water - and the whole experience is quite painful. considering how intimately detailed this piece is, the ending doesn't have quite the same physical authenticity as the rest.

i think this is rich in detail. i like the way the characters reveal themselves organically.
