A walk through broken glass on
hot and filthy pavement.
psychopathic creatures bleeding my lungs.
three stabs to the back and one to the neck
crippled on the floor.
dying, much like heaven.
my mouth creates pollution,
breathing dirt into the world
filling lungs, one after another.
one hand to reach the other,
pushed back down instead.
always to question,
if I'll come back up this time.

  After reading this, I got the impression you really had a handle on how to write poetry. It was filled to the brim with metaphors and similes, and a playful choice of words.   I don't think it needs to be logical. Panic is a very strong reaction to certain stimuli and although I've never experienced anything I'd consider a panic attack, this poem does create a feeling of what it might be like to succumb to something so uncontrollable.
